Cathy Moser, Ph.D., C.Psych.
Dr. Moser is a Clinical Psychologist with a private practice in Winnipeg.   She has been practicing as a Psychologist since 1986.  Dr. Moser brings to the practice ten years of experience in the School System and many years of experience in private practice.  As a Clinical Psychologist in a school setting, Dr. Moser had the opportunity to learn how to make changes for children within the school system.  As a result of this experience, she is able to assess the ‘whole’ child, and to provide treatment strategies that incorporates the needs of the child as well as the systems in which s/he functions – school, family, peer relationships, etc. 
Dr. Moser has a special interest in treating adults using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with a short-term solution focused model.  In her practice, she has had the opportunity to treat individuals with Anxiety, Mood Disorders, Addictions (smoking, eating, gambling, etc.), Relationship Issues, and, Separation and Divorce.

Susan Eilers, B.A., D.V.A.T.I.
Susan Eilers is a Professional Art Therapist and a member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association.   Susan works with children and adults of all ages, with a special interest in working with children.  Susan has been able to add a unique contribution to the Therapy Groups that Dr. Moser offers (Anger Management; Coping with Separation and Divorce; Dealing with Teasing and Bullying).   Within Dr. Moser’s practice, Susan specializes in helping children express their feelings through Art while making the behavioural changes that allow them to function better within their classroom, peer group, and family.  Susan is also able to assist children who experience anxiety through a Cognitive Behavioural Program that includes art for more complete expression.

Sharon Goszer Tritt, Ph.D., C.Psych.
Dr. Goszer Tritt is a Clinical Psychologist with an extensive background working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide variety of problems.  She has practiced Psychology for over 20 years, having worked in the school system, the medical system, and within the community.  She has a special interest in the treatment of Anxiety and Depressive Disorders, Stress, Coping with Medical Illnesses, Adolescent Issues, Parenting, Women’s Issues and Grief/Bereavement.  Skilled in a variety of treatment approaches, she has particular expertise with the application of cognitive behavioural principles to mental health problems and issues in daily living.

Rishona Hyman, M.A., M.S.W.
Rishona Hyman is a Social Worker who has training in treating a variety of individuals with Mental Health differences.  She has many years of experience in working with children.  Rishona will be assisting with the In-School and In-Home Therapy Programs that are offered to help children make changes within the School setting.  She will be co-facilitating the ADHD/Organizatioal Skills Group.  Rishona also has experience in working with Seniors and with adults who experience stress in their everyday lives.  She will be co-facilitating Groups for Adult Children of Aging Parents.  

Aida Strocovsky,  M.D.
Dr. Strocovsky is a Psychiatrist who trained and initially practiced in Argentina.  She has been practicing in Winnipeg for ten years.  Dr. Strocovsky has also trained as a Psychotherapist, and has worked extensively with individuals, couples and families, and, intervention in domestic violence.  Dr. Strocovsky brings a Psychodynamic approach to therapy, and has a special interest in Adolescents, Addictions, and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder.  She has extensive experience in working with families affected by alcohol and drugs, and has worked with teenagers who are addicted to a variety of substances.  Dr. Strocovsky will be co-facilitating Groups for Parents of Teens with Addictions and providing service for  the In-Home Therapy Program.

Bev Vargo, B.Edcn. Ph.D., C.Psych.,
Dr. Vargo is a Developmental Psychologist with many years experience in the School System.  Not only does she currently practice as a School Psychologist in the Pembina Trails School Division, she has first hand knowledge of Assessing and Treating children with academic problems through her training as a teacher.  Dr. Vargo has a Bachelor of Education Degree as well as a Doctorate in Psychology.  She has experience as an elementary school teacher, and has worked as a Psychologist for the past fifteen years.  Her areas of interest include Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Peer Relations, and Parent Education and Support.

Peggy Alto, M.S.C., S-LP(C) is a Speech Language-Pathologist with 14 years of experience working with both preschool and school age children.  She spent 10 years working within the school setting, assessing and providing both individual and group therapy  to children. 

Ramona Thomson, M.A., S-LP (C) is a Speech-Language Pathologist with 8 years of experience working with preschool and school age children along with adults.  She spent one year working in a hospital setting and five years within the school setting, assessing and providing both individual and group therapy to children. 

Peggy and Ramona will be assisting Dr. Moser in facilitating two different types of Groups - A Social Skills Development Group for Children and Teens and a Group for Parents of Toddlers and Preschoolers who want to learn better parenting techniques and ways to facilitate their child’s cognitive development.   


The Laureate® Academy
The Laureate® Academy is an independent school specializing in meeting the individual academic needs of its students in the context of a university entrance curriculum.  Established in 1987, The Laureate® Academy offers individualized programming and small group instruction for students in Grades 1-12.  In addition to their completion of the Manitoba Department of Education certification requirements, all teachers at The Laureate® Academy undergo an intensive two-year training program in the Academy’s programs and methods.  Various enrichment programs (i.e. Experiential Week, Social Studies Fair, etc.) and extra-curricular activities (i.e. Clubs, Drama productions, Student Council, etc.) are available to students at all grade levels.  The Laureate® Academy is a member of the Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association and fields Varsity and Junior Varsity teams in volleyball, basketball, badminton, soccer, and track and field.  The Laureate® Academy provides bus service from all areas of the city.
